We don't just spray.
We find how they
got in.
Licensed Branch 2 pest control for Orange County and Los Angeles County. Rodents, insects, commercial contracts — inspected properly, treated with the minimum product necessary, and the entry points closed so it doesn't come back.
Pest control, done the way it should be
Every job starts with an inspection and ends with a written record. That's not a premium add-on — it's the service.
Rodent Control
Rats and mice, inspected and trapped — then we find every way they got in. California banned rodent poison in homes, so this is done right: trapping, exclusion, sanitation.
Learn more →Rodent Exclusion
Sealing the gaps — roof lines, vents, utility penetrations, foundation. Treating without closing the entry points means paying for the same problem forever.
Learn more →General Pest
Ants, cockroaches, spiders, wasps, fleas, bed bugs. Targeted placement, minimum product necessary, never a blanket spray of your baseboards.
Learn more →Attic Cleanout
Droppings, contaminated insulation and nesting material removed with full PPE and proper disposal. Before-and-after documented.
Learn more →Mosquito Control
Source reduction first — we find the standing water breeding them rather than fogging your hedge every three weeks and calling it a program.
Learn more →Commercial
Restaurants, property management, HOAs, schools, warehouses, healthcare. Written service record every visit, logbook maintained, COI on file.
Learn more →Free Inspection
Every job starts with an inspection and a written plan before anything is scheduled. Commercial properties get a full walkthrough and written assessment.
Learn more →The Rodent Law Changed
Between 2021 and January 2025, California banned all seven anticoagulant rodenticides — the rat poison the entire industry was built on. They are prohibited in homes and most commercial settings, with penalties up to $25,000 per day.
That means the bait-box route service most companies still run is no longer legal for residential work. What's left is trapping, exclusion and sanitation — more skill, more labor, and the only approach that actually keeps rodents out.
It's how we've always worked. We didn't have to change anything.

Four steps, every job
Free inspection
We walk the property — perimeter, entry points, roof line, subarea, attic where relevant — and photograph what we find. No charge, no obligation.
Written plan
You get findings in writing, prioritized by risk, including things you can fix yourself for free. Then the price.
The work
Targeted treatment where activity is, trapping where trapping is right, and the entry points closed so it does not come back.
Written record, every visit
What was inspected, what was found, what was applied and where, and what still needs correcting. Every time.
The properties we already protect
Aerospace and manufacturing facilities. Private and parochial schools. Licensed healthcare and treatment facilities. Property management portfolios. Most independents in Orange County can't say that.
HOA & Property Management
Portfolio service with documentation your board or owner can actually read. Responsive scheduling, quiet resolution, no tenant complaints landing on your desk.
Restaurants & Food Service
Health-inspection readiness. Logbook current and legible, monitoring devices documented, findings written up every visit.
Schools & Childcare
We service private and parochial school campuses. Check-in protocols, escort requirements and scheduling around occupancy are routine for us.
Healthcare & Treatment Facilities
We service licensed healthcare and treatment facilities. Compliance, discretion and documentation are the job, not extras.
Warehouse & Industrial
Including aerospace and manufacturing facilities. Perimeter programs, monitoring, and reporting that survives an audit.
Offices & Retail
Scheduled service that happens when you are closed and leaves a record when you open.
Straight answers
Are you licensed?
Yes. ProGuard Pest Solutions, INC holds a California Structural Pest Control Board Branch 2 license, number PR 8986, and we are insured and bonded. You can verify any pest control license on the Board's website — we would encourage you to, for us and for anyone else you are considering.
Do you use rat poison?
No, and in most cases nobody legally can. California phased out all seven anticoagulant rodenticides between 2021 and January 2025 — they are prohibited in homes and most commercial settings. Our rodent work is built on trapping, exclusion and sanitation, which is both the compliant approach and the one that actually keeps them out.
What makes you different from the big companies?
We find how pests are getting in rather than spraying on a schedule and leaving. Every visit produces a written record of what was found, what was done, and what needs correcting. The owner answers the phone.
What does it cost?
It depends on the property and what is actually happening — which is why we inspect first and put the plan in writing before anything is scheduled. We are not the cheapest option in Orange County and we do not try to be.
What areas do you serve?
Orange County and Los Angeles County only. That is deliberate — it is how we keep response times short.
Do you handle raccoons, skunks and other wildlife?
Wildlife is regulated by the Department of Fish and Wildlife rather than the Structural Pest Control Board, so we refer that work to a licensed wildlife company we work with regularly, and they refer general pest work to us.
